While the Sorcerers and the Druids are disliked by the Church for their ability to wield power that does not come from the Saints. The hate felt for them is far eclipsed by the burning antipathy that the Church has for the witches. They are called the consorts of Devils, the eaters of children, and holding the most unclean of souls. Most witches though are peaceful healers, protectors, and wise folk who are the pillars of their community.

What the Church fears and hates most though about the witch is that her power comes from a pact with otherworldly powers, and to the Church there is nothing more repugnant and damnable.

Witch Archetypes.

Gravewalker: The gravewalker is obsessed with the occult manipulations of the dead, particularly mindless undead such as zombies. Unlike the creations of standard necromancers, a gravewalker’s creations remain forever tied to her will, and she can produce vile apparitions of tremendous power.
Hedge Witch: Among witches, there are those who devote themselves to the care of others and restrict their practices to the healing arts. They often take the place of clerics in rural communities and may wander the countryside servicing the needs of several small communities.
